I was in grad school when I turned into a gym rat for a couple years. The gym was open 24 hours so me and a couple other guys would lift at 2 in the morning (?). I enjoyed it but not enough to want to do it again. I can see myself rowing and xc skiing if I stopped riding.
So far it has built tools for: general search, news search, inbox scan, and calendar management, and it has scheduled tasks (scheduled prompts) which use these periodically. The only tool it needed my help with was CalDAV because CalDAV sucks.

It's probably exactly what I need to rip trails around here, but I can think of at least 3 other things I need to spend 12k on before I get a rowdy mtb and they all rhyme with fruition.
It's excruciating. As is the one Peter highlighted. It's so rare that a negligent driver actually pays a price for taking a pedestrian or cyclist life that I yell out loud when it happens.
My aging but hardcore mtb friends have all enthusiastically bought into e-mtbs for giving them the chance to ride hard longer.
