I really thought my form was good, I didn't feel any back pain or anything until the next day. Hard to approach a lift confidently when it feels like rolling the dice.

Could be. Pre-accident I found that my form was better at heavier weight. Like the extra weight forced me to use the correct muscles to lift. I'm gonna see if I can get a couple sessions with my old trainer next week.

My first time pulling deadlifts since a car accident last July. I felt fine the day of, but I've been basically bedridden since. Starting to feel better again and all I want is to go back and do more deads until I get it right. Glad to know that a back injury isn't necessarily a death sentence.
