The Iraq National Team qualified for the World Cup for the first time in 40 years CONGRATS Y’ALL!! Had to do a little post featuring the kids, Hamzah would be so stoked (Yara’s def wearing one of his shirts in this lol)

Wind down sketch, Hamzah in traditional Iraqi wear (dishdasha, shemagh and agal - hope I got those names right!) I've been combing through the different styles of the dishdasha and ways to wear the shemagh so hopefully got this right. And a bonus Yara (pre-dating) rxn because why not.

The return of Noor (Hamzah’s niece/cousin’s kid!) First time Yara meets the little cutie and gets a new name LOL. And Hamzah is just over there fighting for his life. Fun fact, Yara is Lebanese, but she greets Noor in Iraqi dialect (shlonich) because that’s what Noor’s familiar with ♥️🇮🇶
