Thank you to everyone who stopped by at arma!! Duster's test results came in this morning, so here's an update for everyone invested!

The culprit of the sinus infection is YEAST 🔪 He's having oral and topical antifungals added to his regiment, so hopefully we can get these suckers!!

The carved pigeon block next to some white prints on black paper again. This time the prints are much neater and have next to no unwanted noise. The block has had all excess rubber cut off

Much better!! Still too scared to break out my proper inks, gonna go back to comic work until I'm feeling brave lol

Gonna clean up the noise-causing bits and call it a night, but tomorrow I'll try with more paint + a round on scrap fabric (paper and acrylic aren't actually the medium for this kind of rubber block printing, I'm just Nervous and gotta try with supplies I don't care about first lol)

Success I think?? Or at least not total failure. Gonna clean out the empty space bits and then try it out, I suppose!

Is it wise to test how small I can physically carve something ON MY FIRST TRY? Probably not, but it's going well I think. I'm still scared of the interior lines, but it's time for dinner, so that's a problem for later!

In my first run he mostly just existed a few times, but I belive there's more interaction with him if you make a tevinter-oriented choice that I didn't make!
There are several codexes you can pick up that're about him reguardless, though
