Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 has been the best romance of the show so far. It builds naturally without contrived problems the way some of the other couples had 🎭✨

I’ve never tried on a pair of crocs and at this point I’m too afraid to.
Forever grateful for Europe forcing the standardization of USB-C everything 🙏😌
Realizing that non-alcoholic beers are essentially beer-flavored sparkling waters made me chuckle.
I’d like my *literally* 36 HOURS back please. What a long (audio) book for such a boring and trite story. 🙄 #DavidCopperfield #booksky 💙📚
Good to know, maybe I’ll check those out from him at some point!
Currently reading: David Copperfield by Charles Dickens // Honestly only reading this because I heard ‘Demon Copperhead’ was loosely based on it and I want to read that one soon. At 20%….I’m not impressed, though I guess it was genre-breaking/influential, so yay for that? 🤷🏾♀️ #booksky 💙📚

The actual most wonderful time of the year. #girlscoutcookies #glimmers
Finished watching “Nobody Wants This” with hubby: we both loved it - and we also both agree it should just be 1 season long. Not every relationship is meant to be and an eloquent exploration of that is rarely shown in American shows/movies.
This overhyped fight would actually be watchable if it were on YouTube 👀 #Netflix
Repeating to myself: Despite what IG ads say and what you think, a planner will not change your life. Despite what IG ads say and what you think, a planner will not change your life. 👏Despite 👏what 👏IG ads 👏say 👏and 👏what 👏you 👏think, 👏a 👏planner 👏will 👏not 👏change 👏your 👏life.😮💨
That time of year when I constantly fight the urge to buy cute ski outfits and hang out at resorts. Not ski though. Just apres ski 😅
Great NPR article about the robotics program I volunteer with! www.npr.org/2023/10/07/1...
I have yet to hear a bad rendition of The Cure’s “Love Song”. Such a beautiful, timeless piece of music, made anew with each cover.
The Hertz Gold rental car pickup process, which works about 90% of the time, is pretty great. Spot your name/section on the board > grab a car > show license > get on with your life. 🚗💨
I don’t even watch the SuperBowl for the ads anymore 🤷🏾♀️
The suburban hellscape that is a Costco on a Saturday at noon 😳
“The reality is messy, but don’t forget the love of the game.” —I love when I get words of wisdom from a mentor!
It’s that time of the year when I cycle between browsing LinkedIn and Zillow ad nauseum. Virtual window shopping, in a sense.
Me.
I will be watching both ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ opening weekend and not anyone is going to make me pit them against each other. Why choose? 💖💥
myspace tom has the chance to do the funniest thing of all time and build an electric car
it's kind of amazing that literally every basic chat program today is less functional than AIM was 20 years ago *and* spies on you
"Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o'clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you've never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride." - Anthony Bourdain
I miss this guy.
Photo of a multi-level mall with various stores, modern glass and metal architecture, and a vibrant environment.
It’s fascinating to me how malls are dying out across the US, but are thriving and enjoyable (!!) elsewhere. Here’s one in Prague I enjoyed visiting when my luggage got delayed 🙃
So wait: how does rate limiting work re: advertisers, who are paying for their content to be seen by users? Or are ads (only ads?) still being shown? (Not logging in to check, lol)
