Anyone have access to βA note on the history of MS D'Orville 78,β Bodleian Library Record, 11(1984): 253β58? It's proving tricky to turn up in my various options.
howdy all--just put out a new zine on the concept of inalienability (re: cultural patrimony). It's an exemplar for my iconoclasm class (they're making their own zines soon) but if you're interested, you can download a copy here: drive.google.com/file/d/12StU...

A student took a picture of nailing their work to my office door
A student sent me this yesterday evening: they nailed their work to my door following a week about the Iconoclasm of the Reformation and Dissolution of the Monasteries.
Honestly, 10/10 for committing to the bit.
Congratulations!!
Thank you!!
My article in Speculum went live today! Thrilled to be thinking about where/how VR might be used next in medieval studies!

Today's the last day I have access to my Elon account--idk why but it's making me all teary!
What a lovely bunch @midagesmodgames.bsky.social
Even if you have a tangential interest in game studies, this review is well-worth your time. Any emerging field is going to have some sloppy scholarship (that's certainly true of game studies). But, what makes this review worthwhile is how it reckons with the costs of that behavior.
A twist on the 'Sonic Pasts' book in the wild π If anyone is interested in sound heritage work including sound in museums, the book is currently at a reduced rate www.routledge.com/Sonic-Pasts-...
