Tell your Reps and Senators to call Adm. Richard Correll, the Commander of U.S. Strategic Command, which controls the nation's nukes, and remind him of *his* unique responsibility to refuse an illegal order.

As someone who aspires to be a constant defender of the rule of law, I’m just distraught by everything right now. Things fall apart.
This is abhorrent.
America should not tolerate a president relishing in Pinochet-style rule over our own citizens.
Our Founding Fathers and generations of American colonists and English before them opposed a standing army. They would recoil at this imagery.
It’s fundamentally un-American.

You saw the video of the ICE agent breaking a car window near the border, right? He wasn’t an ICE agent. He’s the founder of Veterans on Patrol, a FAR-RIGHT MILITIA patrolling the border for migrants. They’re basically deputizing militias to act as federal agents. This is dangerously out of control

Constitutional change does not typically happen without the public’s consent. Defeatism— giving up on the rule of law— is a sure way to watch cherished principles and basic rules wash away.
