I have a lot of thoughts but I’ll sum it up this way, I’ve seen a lot of bad basketball as a UMass fan but I can’t think of a squad that left me feeling more depressed. Immediately regressing to this leaves me more worried than ever that moving to the MAC will be a death sentence for the program

This game is a nice preview of what it will be like to be in the MAC and routinely playing KenPom 300+ teams nobody gives a shit about in front of about 1,300 people

I swear this athletic department doesn’t think through the impact of anything they do. You can’t tell the players the collective is gone without a corresponding plan on how you handle that for the fans/alums. This is very basic stuff they keep screwing up

This team is very flawed but there is a clear 7 man rotation that would be competitive. The coach refuses to play that lineup. Unless he does it’s going to be a long sad swan song in the A10

This is one of the worst assembled rosters I can think of. I wait all year for hoops season and I can’t stress how draining it is to not even be at Thanksgiving and it feels like a lost season

UMass play the right lineups and don’t start the game looking like shit challenge (impossible)

Haven’t seen the numbers but gut from being there was Rivera played too much and Nate and Jayden too little. In the 2H run it was Jayden challenging our guys to get locked in. The d started playing well & then Nate sparked the offense & we cut the lead and had a shot to win it. More of that please
