No more illegal wars. Introduce a prevention of military intervention act and put human rights at the heart of foreign policy. Review all UK arms sales and make us a force for international peace and justice.

The majority of people in this country do not want us to be involved in this war.

Keir Starmer of a few years ago wouldn't have supported this war.

The only reason he does now is he will do anything Donald Trump wants - and it makes us all less safe.

For years we said they’re going for a genocide of trans people and for years we were told to “stop being so dramatic.”

Now we’re at the point of human experimentation with the explicit goal of eradicating us.

Can we call the genocide a fucking genocide now?

Most ridiculous thing about Lab seemingly following Tories into total collapse is that it is entirely self-inflicted and born of needless longstanding contempt for the base

Like Mandelson telling Blair not to worry about the working class because "they've got nowhere else to go"

Well, now they do.

You mean to tell me that after a year and a half of being shat on by the Labour leadership, left wing voters decided to give someone else a go? Labour’s “it’s us or reform” message didn’t work because they’ve echoed Reform’s rhetoric since taking power?

Well I never. Who could have seen this coming

Great positive & realistic message in The Greens new party political broadcast.

The Greens understand the mainstream views of the majority of the English & Welsh public.

Here’s to a bright and big future for The Green Party serving the needs of the people, not the needs of donors.

It’s time ✊💚.

Another thing. They went for trans kids because it's easier to target them than trans adults.

Trans kids you can threaten the parents with safeguarding and child abduction and force them to tolerate a lot of institutional abuse with limited outcry.

I feel like a policy change that does a complete u turn on the established care model for a minority of kids resulting in many of them suddenly dying deserves to be taken more seriously but it's really hard to get cis people who don't have a trans relative to give a shit.

A version of the Wes Streeting 'I never knew Peter Mandelson well' opinion column. Photo is of my cat. Text reads: Ignore the smears: I was never on the kitchen table,
and I am deeply
concerned about
the cultural moral
failing of going
on tables.
I was only in the kitchen in the 1st place to prevent other cats from jumping on the table. That sound you heard was me doing something else.
An additional 'linked' headline reads: Scientists study reappearance of mysterious cat-like wet footprints on surface of table, despite assurances that cat ‘knows it’s naughty’ to go on the table.

Polanski is a pleasure to interview because he will answer any question about anyone. Wes Streeting? “Wes is attacking me every day on social media because I’m another gay man in politics who is not willing to throw the trans community under the bus and that exposes his abject immorality. He must know what it’s like to be othered but he’s more bothered about power than protecting the other. It’s disgraceful.”

So now a lot of people in my community are angry at the grieving mum being used by a political party because they're being told by said political party that their shit plan that hurts us is all the grieving mums idea.

Absolutely sickening shit. What a disgusting party.

The BBC has no pro-trans bias. The BBC is appalling on trans issues, just like the rest of the media.

This is what kills me. If Esther Ghey wants to talk about the dangers of kids being online too much, she can talk about radicalization, about bigotry, about the dehumanizing ideas of trans people Brianna's killers were exposed to.

She doesn't, she talks exclusively about Brianna's social media use.

Politicians have chosen to be in the public spotlight.

We choose intense scrutiny and everyone is entitled to an opinion. And that's right.

But how do these nasty digs about physical appearance serve anyone?

It's no wonder so many people - particularly women - are put off ever getting involved.

centrists: a third party can’t win under fptp so you have to vote labour.

centrists: if you don’t vote labour then reform, a third party, might win.

If you have a friend or know someone who is trans, PLEASE don't go around telling people that person is transgender.

You are putting them in danger!
It's not your place to tell people this.
If you truly love them, you will protect them.

The bullets in the Kirk shooting case had nothing on them about trans people, yet the

Guardian
Murdoch Times
Murdoch Sun (Scotland)
Telegraph

all reported the "trans bullets/trans shooter" hogwash as if it were hard information, three of these put it on their front pages.

It turns out it was not

every time there's political violence discourse i think about how jo cox was assassinated in broad daylight by a fascist who shouted "britain first" as he shot her, and now nine years later her party is dedicating every moment in power to placating the ideology of her murderer

To potentially oversimplify this, but the number of people arrested at the Palestine Action protests exceeds the entire number of people, on average, attending the anti-asylum hotels protests, yet they are called "fringe" and those outside hotels are called the "voice of the people".

Liberals are starting to say shit like, "trans people asked for too much too fast," and I'll remind your souless asses that we actually didn't ask for anything. we were minding our own business and quietly improving our healthcare and you (cis) decided to do a pogrom against us for no reason.

The load-bearing myth at the heart of UK politics is that the politicians and media are tolerant and decent and working people are knuckle-dragging bigots, but it's actually completely the other way around.

7 months ago 5402 1482 51 39

Just for perspective, a few weeks ago roughly 100,000 turned up for the London Trans+ Pride march. By contrast fewer than 3,000 ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY, have turned up to anti-asylum "protests". Yet we are meant to take the latter as "the voice of the people" and the former as "the minority".

Can’t get behind someone who seems scared to share his support for trans people and condemn the transphobia Labour is implementing. You seem to be able to see all the other injustices and name them as tenets to fight with this party, but not us?

Fascism is here. We are not “getting closer” or “in danger of.”

This matters because it frames our discussion: We aren’t trying to prevent it, we’re trying to defeat it. It’s not taking over our institutions, it’s taken them over.

Otherwise, we’re always behind, fighting a past we’ve already lost.

The point of canaries in the coalmine was to warn the humans who mattered.

Trans people are listened to less than birds.

what do you mean your community won’t sacrifice themselves so i can continue to believe that my team is the good team? do you want fascism to win?

One of the most disheartening things about trans advocacy is how little the people who claim to be on our side actually listen to us.

"trans-identifying", "biological sex", and a variety of other GC dogwhistles have become common parlance because people listen to our enemies, but not us.

Look I know this is hard to reckon with but we don’t have time any longer to wait for you to catch up.

This Labour government is in fact worse than the last 15 years of Tory led governments. For us all.

And talking specifically about our LGBTQIA+ sector for a second… we need to acknowledge this.
