Sadly the fixture im putting this on only gives discrete control over the dimmer of each one, BUT! Raymarched addressable lightbar! As usual goated @torvid.net for the LUT base for all of this stuff. This is basically a spotlight cone per bulb lol

I want to see more people do/explore crazy things with raymarch LUTs. It feels like a whole different axis to take shader programming.

Most (all?) shading behaviour in the baked one should be 1:1 with non-baked. If it's not that's likely a bug that I should fix.

Yeah! in my test it's 2-5x faster (GPU side).
I did not do any intentional optimizing of the shader, basically just copy/pasted the feather pass code into the undercoat pass.
I'd love to know what you find if you test it also!

I made a tool that bakes NormalizedCrow's FeathersAndFur Shader into the main mesh.

This makes it work in fallback, with other shaders like poiyomi, improves performance, and lets you export to external software like Blender!
