Long list of plans for this one, including multi-domain support and SQLite-based run-time configuration. But for now, it just works.
After building for a year, and then building an Elixir Phoenix-based selling platform, full-stack.biz/products/act... is finally available for purchase. Spin your own Action Mailbox/Action Mailer MTA.
What you calling vibe coding, I call bullshit driven development.
Iran has been under sanctions for years. No one is risking it providing access to technologies to the sanctioned entities.
Are these people in the room with us?
Here it's the coldest and rainiest summer in years.
There was supposed to be @flavorjon.es praise. Somehow bsky eaten it out.
After a long and bumpy road, Rails Engines finally provides you with Tailwind CSS support out of the box. Thanks, I appreciate your support along the way.
github.com/rails/tailwi...
Yep. If I notice another one, I'll PR.
I figured as much after giving it a good thought.
Exactly the same story. Rails core team have no interest in front-end. No one really owns anything. Lots of things are placeholders by only implementing basic scenarios. It all started with ActiveStorage missing key functionalities because 37signals don't need them. So nothing new under the moon.
Same as I mentioned from the start. To get it merged.
I guess I am feeling angry and neglected enough to tag @flavorjon.es
And the biggest standing issue is my push towards implementing Tempfile via block (to ensure that the given tempfile will be removed on termination of the loop). Instead of callbacks that may not work at all.
Meanwhile, in the Rails world, things could not have been any better. github.com/rails/tailwi... pushes me into flaming rage. Half a year waiting for approval on a working solution that blocks my projects for a year. Zero interest from DHH and others. Who needs Engines? Who needs Tailwind?
Getting back to the personal projects after a while pushes me into depression. Everything is broken. The BeaconCMS upgrade leads me down the rabbit hole with Elixir updates, forcing me to install Asdf, only to discover that Asdf breaks `iex`. The bug was fixed a version ago, closed, and still here.
While it's completely fascinating to me how fast things are in the Elixir world, this feels like at least a minor change, not patch level.
Seems like this change github.com/elixir-lang/... should have a longer deprecation cycle than just a few days from committing to being in upstream.
That does add up. Fucking "from the river to the sea" moron.
I suspect everything on TV will be canceled soon enough with Trumponomics.
Death is beautiful. I have quite a long list of persons whose deaths I am waiting for personally.
I strongly believe that you don't have outtie, as someone doing that much open-source.
Covid was way closer than the Spanish flu. And what did we get out of it?
Russians long ago were having bed-time story that U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said in a fabricated quote that Russia's population should be reduced to about 8 million people who would serve the oil and gas industries.
It starting to feel that GOP believes that for the USA in some form
They are constantly lying. What is the use of keeping that in mind as long as no one will hold them accountable?
Which experiments? They are literally speaking about allowing an epidemic to happen. I guess we have enough epidemics in history of mankind to be sure of outcomes in general.
Дональд "ЗАТКНИСЬ, СУКА" Трамп.
Good buddy @mitchellhenke.com released a sqlite spatial extension ecto types. Lets you use spatialite with elixir and ecto! hex.pm/packages/geo... #elixir-lang
