How do you check that?

Truly an abhorrent human being
🤮
Some days I am really grateful to @panicworld.com for keeping me at least somewhat up to date about what's going on with the online world. The tradeoff is that now I know who fucking Asmongold is.
Someday I will get around to writing that piece about how the central motif for our modern economy is the Skinner box.
I had one and sold it on ebay some time ago for $150 or so.
I know that audio recordings exist
xyzzy
That’s something else I think. The top is me calculating piece movement for Token Race. Did I scan pages for you at some point?
Such an incredible dude, so creative, best soundtracks in all of pinball. The GOAT.
Fairly soon after I started I decided I wanted to make the screen shake when you hit the bank with a ball. I couldn't do it live, I had to take a shot of the screen, then move it around, then return to live. This was the first major bit of assembly I ever wrote and it took for. ev. er. to figure out
You can see the Token Race notes on the back too.
Sure are! Pretty sure I still have all those notebooks around
They were really strict about who could voice him IIRC. Weren't there only like two or three approved artists who were allowed to do it?
Figurines of Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fighting each other
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
I am deeply saddened. Where else am I going to combine my two niche loves of indie rock and baseball?? Now who is going to tell me when something is the Neutral Milk Hotel of math???
Super cool! Trivia: My band had a record cover in an exhibit at Cooper Hewitt once.
What where are you
It was funny how through my entire time we were still occasionally discovering games at the offices that hadn’t been updated because they made their presence very known out of nowhere.
So fuzzy
I like how I am looking at email. I’d recognize elm anywhere
I don’t know who needs to hear Jesse Jackson leading the kids on Sesame Street in this beautiful call-and-response reminding them that every child is somebody, but here it is
Someone set us up the bomb!
[Titicut Follies] brought viewers into a previously closed-off place and established an important truth that Wiseman would return to in the 43 documentaries that followed: You can’t separate people from the institutions they’re part of, and their actions are shaped by them in powerful ways.
The drunk uncle theory.
You don’t argue with the casually homophobic uncle at Thanksgiving dinner to change his mind; you argue so that the closeted cousin at the kids table knows there’s safe people and better possibilities out there
Saddened to hear of the passing of Frederick Wiseman. I took a documentary film class in college, and the screenings of High School, Hospital, and Titicut Follies are burned into my brain. Incredible body of work, so influential. RIP.
also, when you are terribly mid at something, you enjoy it for its own sake instead of immediately trying to figure out how to monetize an otherwise fulfilling and enjoyable hobby. Normalize doing things simply because you enjoy them, regardless of how good (or not) you are at them.
Guy could dog and pony with the best of them
Remember in Chicago, the REAL SUPER BOWL was beating the Packers last month. Relive that feeling every day with this shirt:
