WHO WE ARE Hey, we are Sisters in Solidarity (SiS), a group of transfem* and inter* sisters formerly known as Siblings in Crime (SiC) organizing together for political work and provide a safe community for each other. We are a group that focuses on the shared struggles of those affected by transmisogyny and intersexism. We are group of anarchists, socialists and communists that strive to have no hierarchies in the group and to value all voices equally. We reject authoritarianism and strive to work as a collective of leftists coming from different perspectives and backgrounds. Many of us have immigrant backgrounds or come from families that were displaced, we advocate for low income groups, disabled and racially marginalised people and the rights of every LGBTQIA* person.
Unfortunately we were forced to make a new account, as a small splinter group left and kept the accounts without consulting anyone, while blocking off all attempts at communication. The rest of us are still here and are continuing our work. To address any ongoing rumours about us, we are pro-Palestine, oppose Zionism, and the split was caused by interpersonal issues with the members who left. If you are interested in joining or getting to know us, text us anytime! We meet for weekly plenaries and host community brunches on the weekend where we come together to share our food & love 💜
