I’m sorry but Hobie is ONE type of punk he is not the only version of black alt/punk aesthetics,, (and i did actually reference him that’s why i added the face piercings and jewelry yall are calling gaudy/unnecessary)

Also referring to his grillz as “gaudy” or “gangster” is so unnecessary like it’s literally jewelry, it’s a normal and very common fashion that I used to compliment his fangs,, wearing a durag and grills doesn’t suddenly mean he’s not chill or punk

Piercings are punk, black nail polish is punk, but ultimately the subculture is not restricted to a leather vest. Punk is about self expression, and in this case black expression, letting Tex wear some elements of Black and Hip Hop culture doesn’t disqualify him from being punk
