Went on my first date in nearly a decade on Friday night and choose Georgian. Adjarian khachapuri was well received, and a nice part of an absolutely perfect night out with wonderful company. Georgian is magical!

For me it was AK's Ran. Back before big screen TVs. Recently saw the restored film in a theatre. Impossibly vibrant.
Just a cuppa will be perfect. With cardamom.
Love it! Looks fantastic.
Beautifully said. Very much worth pondering.
Joyous Yule to all!
It really is fabulous. Thoughts are wandering towards cheese khinkali...
My kids and I were recently introduced to Georgian food at a restaurant here in Toronto. We were all blown away by how delectable it is and have made Georgian take-out a weekly ritual.
Thoughts on Metanoia?
16 year old me, when I was young and foolish. Now much older and more foolish.
In your picture you look almost elven, but sadly so. On your way to the Grey Havens.
Looks like you have been having a fabulous time. Glad to see it. Especially envious that you will get to see AN live. Enjoy!
Biden must have loosened the base months ago...
My son, daughter and I saw them a couple of years ago: O&O is one of all our favourite albums of all time. Fantastic show.
The Washpost rejected a $115,000 ad that criticized Elon Musk.
here's the ad that the Post's business side didn't want its readers to see. Please post this so we can all see the hypocrisy.
That's understandable. Will see you on Twitter!

-12 C here, but there is snow with some more on its way this week. As tired of the winter as I get by March or so, I would miss it.
Sigh of relief. I was afraid the list might go a bit too far IMHO by pointing to a chocolate fondue fountain shaped like the Matterhorn. Doable only as a lesser peak.
Great advice. Someone else can complement you, supplement you, add richness and joy to your life, but there as to be a solid core of "you" to build on. Otherwise just building on sand.
I wonder if it is connected to "Hackapell"? Term used for the especially frightful Finnish cavalry of the Thirty Years War. Lived in German folk memory for decades after as something to scare children with.
Thanks for reminding me of his music. It has been too long since I listened to it.
FΓΌr Alina is gorgeous. So much breathtakingly, haunting music from him. I tend to gravitate towards his choral music (The Deer's Cry) and songs (Vater Unser). His perfectly placed pauses - where the preceding notes just hang over the silence - are magical.
For me, his Te Deum was a frequent point of repose.
Really enjoyed it. Fantastic heaving swells of sound.
Love PΓ€rt. Listened constantly when I was finishing my MA.
Been listening to this morning. Fantastic if you love really richly layered heavy ponderous doom.

Will have to give it a spin.
Hi Ben. Hoping the clouds break for you soon.
