Dude, it's at 10 AM and won't last more than 30 minutes, then we could immediately do fun things afterwards. I lowkey feel kinda weird about it. She'd really rather have me walk in heat that she knows I can't tolerate well, than wake up a little earlier just for a 30 minute appointment? Bruh.

Love the fact my mom offered to take us on a road trip tomorrow (her car needed repairs so she got a loaner SUV until it's repaired)...but when I asked if she can take me to an appointment tomorrow, she acted like I was burdening her. I was just asking because I don't want to walk in 80°F weather. 😭

I went to my occupational therapy appointment and (naturally) the convo turned into talking about video games, and the assistant occupational therapist casually mentioned she got her son Tomodachi Life for his birthday...the way I vibrated in my chair at the mention of Tomodachi Life, mannnnn. 😭😭😭

Also WOW...I know I lost a lot of weight, but I felt like I looked the same even though my clothes are getting baggy on me now...this pic makes me realize how different I look now though. 😭 I have a selfie from 2023 when I was 50 pounds heavier...the difference is crazyyyy. 🤯

Facial hair has entered the chat...and they're popping off about how more masc they make Leukas look, to the point they're referred to as sir everytime a stranger talks to them. 😚

April is a very good month for me. 😭 Started HRT, got approved for disability/food stamps/Medicaid back in 2019...and most importantly, finally making things official with the man who changed my life. It can be stressful renewing everything, but the anniversaries are worth it. 💕

I'll never regret being on HRT. It's improved everything in my life (except acne and oily hair lol). Between that and my top surgery, it truly has been one of the best decisions of my life. Transitioning not only made me happier, but it gave me a body I want to live life in...and can begin to love.

Don't let anyone tell you HRT isn't worth it if you're older. There's so many things you can do to help you feel less dysphoric, and HRT is one of them. Make an informed decision, and surround yourself with people who love and support you. That alone will make everything worth it. 💖

I wasn't expecting it to make my shoulders broader, give me an Adam's apple, literally grow a penis...and I didn't even want that. I just wanted to have more masc traits, and I got that. Hell, I have even more body/facial hair than my husband, and he's technically been on testosterone all his life.

I also remember being told by my own med manager (at the time) that starting HRT wasn't worth it, because I'm over 18, and wouldn't see any worthwhile changes.

I'm so glad my doctor called out his BS, and gave me actual medical facts about it. I was able to make a VERY good decision because of it.
