The judge, clearly moved by 20 people turning up in person alongside 20 online, ruled entirely in Lud’s favor with low bond.

Update to come when he is home. The team is optimistic about his hearing in May.

I think it all falls on the "savior" expectations that a lot of people heaped on the game when it was first announced. This move just seems sensible and if it ends up like the LOR situation, I'm confident the FGC can run with that and build slowly from there.

I know there's a lot of doom and gloom around 2XKO right now, but the FGC is the perfect environment for the game to have a comeback story.

The kinds of dead game narratives that you see in other genres don't play out the same way they do here. We'll see in time.

Not saying this would’ve stopped the layoffs but laying off employees while having money to throw into tournament prize pools is why I hate this eSports-centric era of fighting game development
