Framed my beautiful signed Nori Yorstein and Francheska Yarbusova animation prints taken from their painted glass stopmotion animations.

Now to find an inspirational place to hang them.

The games always did better in Europe, they’re a strange cult thing which is nice.
We would love to make a new MediEvil (if the conditions were right) but it will probably never happen - at least not with us as Sony owns it.

Younger me appreciates your retrospective time travelling gratitude. 😄💀

Glad you enjoyed it all these years later. Still my fondest game development memories so it’s always nice to hear such comments decades later. 😁

The only difference between Surface Tension is that the original monthly episodic comic run is shorter than the collection graphic novel. In the published graphic novel collection book there are more extra scenes cut from the original run. And lots of making of material too.

You can’t go wrong. 😄

I wonder if seven priests have been dispatched from Italy this week?

Trump as ‘American Jesus’ (rolls eyes and then vomits) should be the next big boss in another Blasphemous game!

Switch 2 does feel like owning a portable current gen platform. Yes, it’s not as powerful as a crazy expensive gaming PC or top of the range PS5 but it’s a fraction of the cost and I prefer indie games to play-it-safe AAA games. And there are some lovely first party Nintendo games.

Another new(ish) game I’ve been playing on my Switch 2 is “Star Wars: Outlaws”.
Full disclosure; I am not a big SW nerd but I like the original trilogy. The tech/engine running the game on S2 is most impressive, ray tracing looks good, runs at a smooth 30fps.
Enjoying it tho’ it does nothing new.

“Reanimal” and the lonesome bus stop on my work commute from ‘HaverHell.’

When games and reality collide.

Only in the 1970s would this be the lineup for the leading men roles in a film. And I love the uncool nerdiness of it! 😁

Trump… probably not a fan.

Love it when living in my home city feels like being on holiday. 😄 Especially when you know the quiet spots to avoid the streams of tourists.

I guess it’s just the same with Steam etc.

I think you can still sell them on.

What is the point of a game key card (Switch 2) - the full game is not on the actual card?

I notice that in some cases a game key card is cheaper than the version sold on the Nintendo e-store.

Seems a bit daft! The modern way of doing this is so janky.

Hardly a revelation of opinion. But sometimes blasting out an insignificant text into the void of meaningless that is social media is a thing.

Gotta look for silver linings but… the future is looking pretty uncertain.

Still, gotta live and hope in the goodness and intelligence of cooler collaborative heads that will one day prevail.

Trump is destroying and undermining everything that offered the West peace and security based on lessons learned after WW2.
So exhausted by Trump’s dangerous man baby bullshit. Not only weakening alliances but making America both a laughing stock and a feared populist power by its allies and friend.

What’s everyone’s take on Spike Jonze’s live action adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things are?”

Due a revisit tonight, meant to do it some time ago but never got around to it.
I found it interesting back on release but I wonder how it will play out over a decade and a half later.

I think I gave an interview sat beneath this life sized statue back in the dim and distant retro year of 1998. 💀
