When I was six my Dad took me and older cousins to see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. My cousins’ parents had forbidden them from going, my Dad decided to be the cool uncle. Not such a good Dad decision.

My parents were the opposite. Very few improvements except replacing roof when needed. Whoever buys my mother’s house when she passes will probably tear it down and start over.
