I also dislike the 2 party system fwiw. In New York, for example, I run as the nominee for two parties: Democratic and Working Families.
NY has a fusion system, where all the votes for a person get added together even they’re cast on different party lines.

The question for me is, what ahould banks have done with their money other than long duration? Short duration increases transaction costs and lowers yields. With mark to market accounting, is there a solution?
