Acetylcisteine for ischaemic liver - yes or no?

Guys help! My boss today says there's evidence that noradrenaline has better outcomes than metaraminol in septic shock, but I can't find the evidence!

Fury on the ICU today from the spinal surgeons as the spinal trauma patient has a MAP of 75 instead of 80.
Let's review the evidence supporting their claims...
In one week I've had this, albumin & furosemide combo therapy, and drowning a pancreatitis patient. I want to go back in the matrix.
Sorry for bringing down the tone
You did say it was rule 34!
Took this new (to me) wisdom out for a spin on the ICU today, was universally ridiculed. I hate it here.
I don't see any CPR!
I feel dirty wearing one
Genuinely at a teaching session where the speaker has 20-30ml/kg crystalloid in their initial management for haemorrhagic shock.
It's like the opposite of homeopathy - if a little bit doesn't work just keep increasing the dose until it does
From today!

This is the kind of pedantry I live for
Agreed (post-op ileus in this particular patient)
Well exactly. The pharmacist even asked me for a paper to support the "unlicensed use", so this is what I provided. Turns out that hospital doesn't even stock IV acetazolamide!
Yup, furosemide infusion for cardiac failure
Got a lot of pushback today for giving acetazolamide for contraction alkalosis - I thought this was pretty standard practice?

(Me on stage accepting my Froosy award)
And I'd just like to thank the day shift, for giving everyone a billion litres of fluid every day, so I could along every night and sneak furosemide onto every drug chart while they sleep. You guys are the real heroes โค๏ธ
He did get better, but I wonder if we could have got there faster if we'd realised
Ah shit I just realised that patient from last week might have had serotonin syndrome

Can't tell you how many referrals I get for "life threatening asthma" because the CO2 is high, which are really just OHS
Consultant doesn't want to mobilise a patient with new diagnosis DVT (worried about dislodging some clot). Thoughts?

If they die in ICU 3 days later, that's really the ICU's fault
