Great to get some press today on this important survey - which will predictably and disappointingly get very little airtime. Streeting hasn't mentioned it once today...
But we will.

Too many Poole families face the worst of both worlds.
Low wages and sky-high housing costs.
Local Housing Allowance is meant to bridge the gap. But it’s been frozen while rents keep rising.
We need higher wages and a safety net that works - so no one is left behind.
Recognising unpaid care as work is one long overdue part of tackling the UK's care crisis.

Absolutely bang on 👇
"You cannot run a healthcare system on goodwill alone. You cannot retain a workforce by devaluing it. And you cannot fix a crisis by blaming those who are holding it together."

We could have made a deal to avoid this strike action, but the government moved the goalposts on pay at the last minute and then removed the offer of 1000s of much needed training posts.
Dr Emma Runswick on BBC Breakfast today talking about how we need a deal that is good for doctors and patients.
So maybe just pay them properly instead?

Medicine can't be done on the cheap, cutting corners that risk patient safety.
Invest in the future of the NHS - back your resident doctors.
Do you ever start writing a post, realise you can't sufficiently put into words the level of hurt, anger and injustice you feel, and then abandon it?
That's how I feel about the government's attitude towards our Residents.
2020 anyone??
I am so done.

I’m campaigning to stop political donors getting Government contracts.
14 million people went hungry last year, we owe it to them to ensure decisions are made in the public interest.
Cosy relationships with vested interests undermine trust in politics.
Time to break the link.
"Over 55% of GP members have voted and rejected the 2026/27 GP contract, to the tune of 99%. We will now take that message and exert even more pressure on the Government to do the right thing for general practice cross England."

All power to their collective elbows.
All NHS staff have been treated appallingly for over a decade - including being shamefully abandoned after 2020.
Nothing will change for staff OR patients without them taking a stand.
I will ALWAYS be proud to stand beside them.

The Government's so-called "Earned Settlement" proposals are upside down.
Underpaid social workers contributing to their community will get shafted.
Punishing these workers doesn't support cohesion or assimilation - it does the opposite.

I’ve called on the Government to ban the “givers and takers” - donors who bankroll political parties and land Government contracts.
It stinks.
We need to break this link and restore trust in politics.

NHS staff were applauded, but services are still not sufficiently funded or more generally supported.
Healthcare workers are not 'superhuman' - they are human, and should be treated with humanity.

Ministers said Motability changes wouldn’t impact disabled people.
@transportforall.org.uk has compiled testimony from disabled people that calls this into question.
I’ve written to the Government with 70 organisations raising concerns.
Ministers must listen to disabled people.
I'm standing for BMA UK Council to deliver a new deal for GPs that recognises our irreplaceable contribution to the NHS. We should be:
🙏 Valued
🤝 Trusted
✊ Supported

So pleased to support #AVeryEnglishChat - at a time of division, by bringing individuals & communities together to share their own reflections on national identity, we can discover far more compelling & inclusive stories of who we are & who we can be 👇
The public believe in fair play: hard work and playing by the rules should matter.
Migrant care workers do vital work, often in tough conditions for low pay.
It’s un-British to rip up the rules & pull the rug from under them.
Divisive for communities. Bad for public services.
