not trying to throw shade on anything though, genuinely I think the original Nintendo Switch titles were blessed - I mean they did a great job. breath of the wild, super mario odyssey, animal crossing, pokemon SV which I believe is one of the best pokemon titles EXCEPT execution and optimization

It's not "hated" though, I have seen multiple instances where Earthbound fans state that they are disappointed in M3 because of a significantly tragic departure from Earthbound and their expectations. It's somewhat understandable as a sequel, but I do feel M3 is good itself
