Wonder what the technical problems are - maybe the user-interface returned to the hell from which it sprang? And maybe something more user-friendly (or at the very least a better date-inputting function) will emerge.
Sharing here the latest newsletter from a wonderful group of theatre-makers who are all passionately dedicated to making beautiful performances for young audiences. Pulling this news together is a very joyful endeavour.

Thanks for sharing. This is JUST what I needed to read today.

I think I've been in that stage for about the last 15 years!! Sending strength.
Checks date - is it April 1st already?
Was literally about to say the exact same thing. I should read the article first but surely this is a joke.
What a brilliant and heartwarming idea. Thanks for sharing. I've tried to embed messages of kindness and bravery (in all its forms) throughout my plays for young audiences.
This was me last night. Fever of 42 / 107 and heart rate of 120 - but I am medically vulnerable and couldn't face sitting in A+E. Just decided to wait it out and hope I didn't have sepsis by the morning. That can't be right!
I was once in a and e for a severe allergic reaction and the nurses were eating the smelliest salted peanuts - right next to me.
Always brilliant to see a bedlington terrier (even just a nose) on social media!
My 'Out of Office for the Festive Season' will be switched on shortly. Wishing everyone here a very joyful time. Looking forward to all the great chats, interesting projects and new adventures that 2025 will bring, as well as a kinder and more peaceful world.
Sadly I don’t think this really is ‘that’ Peter Ackroyd. Sigh.
Why take a baby to the theatre? Alice Saville writes about the joys of attending live performances with some very, very badly behaved audiences at ENO, Polka Theatre and @newdiorama.bsky.social
It is SO COOL. 😍🤓😊😊😊
Thank you so much for this post! I’m there too and had zero idea! (From a short play evening from long long ago!) This has warmed my little writer heart!!!
Absolutely love that title! Good luck!
INT. MY STUDY. EARLY MORNING.
Dog wanders in, nonchalantly.
Dog: Watcha doing?
Me: Writing my DYCP budget.
Dog: Include a line for Dog Treats.
Me: Sadly I don’t think that’s a valid expense for an @artscouncilengland.bsky.social budget.
Dog: Going back to bed then.
Dog leaves.
END.
As you probably don't know me - I've been working in TYA for 20 years, care about it with my whole being, think that making theatre for young people is a huge privilege and massive responsibility, and if I can't help, I almost certainly know someone who can.
As I get more experienced (older) I am increasingly outspoken about the need for kindness in theatre practice. Therefore, if you are a TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) maker who feels the need for a chat or some support then pop into my DMs. #weworkkind #tya #theatreforyoungaudiences #pya
I have put a link to this in a newsletter I write for a network of TYA makers.
Hi. Please add me to this list if that's ok! Many thanks.
Couldn't find one so I've started a Starter Pack for people and companies in the Theatre for Young Audiences sector. Let me know if I can add you! go.bsky.app/38gYbU5
A very early start this morning for a video call with a class of 7 and 8 year olds in Singapore who had been to see my play yesterday. Joyful to see the excitement on their faces at meeting 'the writer'! Excellent questions including, 'why weren't there more peas in the play?' :-)
