It's interesting how OpenTrons started out as a genuinely good value robot starting at $4k. Now the starting price is $20k and they're in the same price range as the competition. I don't know if they were just selling at a loss to start with, but it's a real shame it's no longer affordable.
Too much protein in the diet appears to carry a risk of atherosclerotic heart disease secondary to leucine's effect. An important report considering recent advocacy for very high-protein diets.

Weren't lectures always pretty useless as a learning experience, apart from a few rare examples? It's just that before recordings we didn't have any alternative but to show up.

Context is everything. We've used genAI feedback for students learning basic Python coding fairly successfully. I'd be interested to see how well it coped with more traditional academic work.

Dear meeting organizers:
Picking the same senior PIs to keynote/give talks at meetings, who's talks I've seen a dozen times already, is not a great use of everyone's time. Nor does it highlight all of the rich talent in your field from more junior folks and peeps not at "elite" institutions.
Only two more days left to apply! Please help spread the word.
