Oh, but you get to participate in the oh-so-important tradition of booing the commissioner every time he walks on the stage for some reason. No one there knows why they do it, just that’s it’s imperative to do so.
I have my preferences, of course, but I’ll work my ass off for whichever NFL team drafts me. I almost have my 40 time in the single digits.
This reminds me, have you ever seen the Jason Ritter video from a few years ago where he is Johnny Marr at practice playing and listening for the first time to the words Morrissey has come up with for “Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others” ??
It’s a treasury of subtle facial expressions.
Some folks see this and say “why even bother, everything is run by terrible people.”

Sure. In lieu of that, sharpie your phone number on her arm (not, like, where any rando can see it, though) in case you get separated. And maybe point out some potential meeting locations should that happen, and an info desk, etc, where she can ask a grownup to borrow their phone.
This is where actual school librarians, not library assistants, would be valuable. Too bad a lot of school districts decided they were expendable.
Another Record Store Day where there was absolutely nothing I wanted.
If only he had Brandon Marshall to hold the attention of the investigators, he would have gotten away with it.
