the comic starts with zagreus walking in from offscreen, implying he just died and is back to the house of hades. hypnos is there to greet him and says: "killed by 'redacted' again, huh? you look like you could use a little nap!'

in the next panel, zagreus responds: 'i'll sleep when i'm de-- ... oh, you know what, mate? you're right." in the next panel, zagreus is sleeping on hypnos's lap on the chaise he bought for him. hypnos is also napping, covering zag with his fluffy cape.

First time they make a sequel and the story, which is the hook line that’s supposed to keep players engaged, takes a sharp nosedive right at the end to the point that I’m now struggling to compel myself to reach the epilogue

Now we know why Supergiant Games never made sequels

I joked with a friend a few weeks back that if Supergiant made Hypnos an irrelevant throwaway gag character all over again in Hades 2 after teasing fans about it for two years I would never play another Supergiant game ever again. Now I think I’m not joking anymore…
