That's always hard. I'm glad you've kept them in a sketchbook though. I think it's important not to become bitter from the sadness when illness affects are ability to create. Those sketchbooks are so special... even if it may take longer to make them realities.

could you tell which kind? I know Gardners get stressed easily. We had a lot of Gophers in California and I would snatch them any time I could. feisty little noodles but they would settle down in seconds and were great to pet for a bit.
