Officially been one year since shaving my head. The mullet still isn’t quite at its former glory but we’re getting there

Basically just a crochet account at this point lol. But here’s a “giant squid” and boat I made for my nephews birthday!

Generally not a new years goal type of person, but here’s to manifesting I guess. 2026 will be the year I get a new job closer to home and get myself a cat (just watched a video of a shelter cat opening up to one of the workers taking care of it 🥲🥲)

And the final four projects. Safe to say they were a big hit!!

Goodwill Mothman costume for a friend’s birthday party worked out! People knew who I was and ultimately that’s all I cared about lol. Maybe a real effort will be made for actual Halloween

Continuing work on outfit. Grey pants have been made to go over the leggings. Light blue robe and pink shirt remain unchanged

Darker blue panels have been added to the light blue arms on the robe. These panels are intended to portray wings

I am wearing a makeshift hat made up of baseball caps to make my head bigger and give me a rough shape of a beak

A precursor to the final outfit. The hat has been turned into a headpiece to resemble that of a bird. The same gray fabric has been attached to the headpiece, white mesh has been placed where the eyes are, and plastic beak has been implemented into the headpiece

The start of the outfit. I am wearing a light blue robe. I have sewn one arm onto the robe, but the other arm has not been added yet

The next steps of the outfit. The arms of the light blue robe are attached but still open. I also have a pink under dress on. This has a turtle neck and will become the shirt used in the end

Next step where there is no change in the light blue robe. The pink dress has been cut into a shirt. I am wearing black leggings with hip padding.

Just realized I never posted about losing the mullet a couple months back. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss it, but I think this time around I’ll be growing it all out (or if I hate it the mullet is coming back asap lol)

Top two are easily Majora’s Mask and then Wind Waker. Third is a bit tougher but I’ll throw it to Ocarina
