Enjoying just exploring shapes and patterns through the theme of an old idea I had rolling around.

30min sketches.
Forever ago, there was a facebook group called spitpaint with a daily theme which I'd try to do at lunch.

I dont think I could do this now, I was painting a lot of key art at the time, these were a lovely throw away break from more high fidelity work, a place to try out ideas.

Freelance for me was super unstable, unreliable week to week, couldn't plan holidays, do all your own admin, meetings at all times of the day, bad for finances all over.

For me studio work is much more stable, better relationships, finance. Close the door at the end of the day and see your family.
