Welcome to getting old

Pretttttty! My car has (ahem) never been detailed, expect the one time I got swiped by a giant truck and had to take it to the collision repair place. When it was returned, I thought I'd been given a brand new car.

A set of dinner plates and serving platters that all look like cabbage leaves.

OMG. I was literally googling "serving platters that look like fruit and veg" a couple weeks ago. So expensive, but I want all of these. Plus additional platters and bowls that look like other veg and fruit. Sigh. I won't be buying them, but I can drool.

Update on fixing up my lil Writing Shed. Have a desk, daybed, and cuddle bear. Still need insulation, windows, electricity, and drywall.

I painted the floor with gray sealant and then put down click vinyl flooring.

This spring, I’m renovating a 7x7.5-foot garden shed into a home office. Here’s the first update.

I am astoundingly grateful to the BC Arts Council for a grant to work on my non-fiction book. For the past year, I've been writing (very slowly) about living with an invisible and debilitating chronic illness since my early teens. Can't wait until May, when I'll have time to work on it full-time.

These little feathered harbingers of spring are only about 2 inches tall and huddle together against the wind.
