We went for a walk after dinner.

(Relative silence cuz the kiddo has his tablet and it’s quite loud but not speaking to anyone until I eat the sandwich)

I'm having a really rough day today.

The wake-up this morning was entitled: "maybe that's not what they meant" which I probably needed to a reminder of.

And I think I'll practice that when thinking about an odd interaction. Maybe it didn't mean anything.

I had my first conference dream btw.
The hotel in my dream was so pretty. Folks I knew were having drinks at the hotel bar when I arrived. (The hotel had a movie theater, it doesn't irl)
They only had a reservation for me for one night when I checked in. So, a little travel anxiety at the end.

So I am curious to see how season 4 wraps up but will babble about it weekly until it does.

The first season was so good, “what happened to the little boy and if we travel through time can we prevent it.” (No)
But we found out Spoiler: he fell in the pond so season 2 was traveling through time to find him and get him back. Great. Makes sense-ish.
Season 3 seemed plotless in comparison

So… how is it that Elliott was able to time travel in the pond anyway? Is he secretly a Landry?
I think that might mess up Katherine’s marriage plans…

I can’t sleep and I’m trying to make sense of my time travel show. I just don’t remember some stuff.
What was his mom’s deal?

I will need wine to watch this show next week.

I’m sorry what? At what point are you messing up the space time continuum? What are the rules on this show?
And I’m sure I make this joke every season but are you your own grandpa?

If you're imagining that I'm just walking around the neighborhood saying hi to all the dogs and cats I see, then you are correct.
But I'm not going to try to pet the dogs when they are in their yards. I'll pet dogs on walks with their owner's permission.

Dear self, If you checked in with coworkers and answered questions, you did a good job today. Not every day is going to be like “wow I finished this awesome project.”
