I seem to keep creating Collections, it's not intentional. I start with one story and it just...grows! Like my stores about growing up in the 1950s and 1960s, for example:

For those suffering from Aefelthrith and Gwladys withdrawal symptoms)which, I'm told, can be most unpleasant) you can alleviate the worst of these by diving into their origin, here:

There are those who hanker for an Easter Egg and then there are those who long for an Undertaker!

It is getting difficult to find a weekend when it doesn't seem inappropriate to post something frivolous, which is why this is being published on a Tuesday.
This week, what was in the garden seems to have set a train of events in progress. Dolly meeting Clarence, in place of Aefelthrith, isn't one of them but it's likely to cause just as much turmoil!

The girls are back, and this week the garden reveals more than expected, but no answers, and an unexpected visitor brings the weight of the law to bear.

This should have appeared over the weekend but, it just didn't feel the right time for anything frivolous. it's not much better now, but...
'Digging' - Dolly gets a message, Aefelthrith gets the hump, Gwladys & 'Arry see what they can unearth!

You know what bothers me (there's quite a list, but this will do for now) if Greenland is strategically important to the U.S., couldn't you say the same, and more, for the U.K. (as a sort of static U.S. aircraft carrier?)
"Where is he going now?” Aefelthrith asked.
“Up to his room, I suppose” Dolly shrugged.
“His ROOM?” Aefelthrith looked aghast, “Since when has he had a ROOM?”

It's Sunday, and what better time for a trip into the distinctly different world of Gwladys and Aefelthrith? This week, Aefelthrith and 'Arry take offence and Gwladys takes responsibility:

Aefelthrith, Gwladys and their fellow travellers are back and dealing with an entirely different set of problems from ours! This week, Gwladys is organising, Dolly is scheming and 'Arry makes an unfortunate discovery:

"You need to calm down, there’s no point in getting all knotted up now, is there?”
“How dare you? I’ve never had knots in me life, not me, never” The Holly fumed.
“Alright, alright, no need to get so…prickly”
“Prickly?” The Holly glared, “I’m holly...”
