I haven’t watched Stranger Things since like Season 2 (I am not one to care about spoilers) but I thought this was a great essay about writing and storytelling - and about audiences.
Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪

I get the impression it has to do with the notifications somehow? I used Twitter a lot before, but am not sure I want to use it again. But I probably would have kept this username for the flashes acct if I’d known ahead of time!
One complication is that they recommend having a dedicated Bluesky acct for photos b/c they link the two accts somehow.
