I think it was a spaniel and it had passed away. The police think the woman was dead for 5 or 6 weeks so the dog probably wasn't far off either. We couldn't take the dog.

Went to a call out today and the copper asked if we did dogs as well. Worst one yet. We were all more bothered about the dog than the poor lady.

Calm down Neston Blumenthal.

It seemed that wherever we went in Berlin, we always ended up at Alexanderplatz. I think we went to a steak house shortly before or after this photograph.

I didn't have great success with bierkellers on that trip. It was a family trip but we did find several great bars on the walks.

‘Did Arsenal bottle it?’

Arsenal are so close yet so far away in their pursuit to win their first Premier League title in 22 years.

I think I'm done for now. Going back to a driving instructor via taxi driving.

The death industry is massively important but the company I work for are shite.

I'm surprised your doing all this work to make her share of the divorce more valuable. Very honourable of you. 😁

My job does at times, which is rather ironic. I'm planning on handing my notice in this week but I've chickened out from telling Mrs P so far. She's either been too pissed or too serious and moody. She knows I'm quitting at some point soon.

Get another wife. Again.

That's fucking mad.

Fingers crossed for you. I hope everything goes swimmingly.

My brother in law used to live in the Dulwich/Peckham area. I like it around there. I like visiting most bits of London to be fair.

Those are the pigeons we get. They nest in my garden. Blackbirds like my garden but my dogs get them occasionally. Idiots.

We get a lot of swifts too. I haven't seen any yet but they should be around in the next few weeks.

Mate of mine did similar to the video on a roundabout near Winwick just after he passed his test. Wrote his grandad's car off. He'd took a few lads for a McDonald's and wasn't concentrating.

That Bryn roundabout is where I first learned the phrase 'adverse camber'. I remember asking my dad when I was about 10. He struggled through it but it made sense. I've only been on that linkway once so I don't know it well. The Bryn one has always been a bit dodgy coming off the motorway.

He can't park that there.

I've only been to Berlin once and I took the family. You must be thinking of a different city.

I occasionally see sparrows but it's pretty rare. Blackbirds and pigeons (proper ones, the feral ones are in town) are the most common. I've started using the Merlin app to listen out for them recently. Very interesting.

I live in a pretty rural area so I don't know if they get lost amongst the other birds but can't remember seeing one for ages. We have a variety of tits, robins wrens and finches. Loads of red kites as well. The wildlife in London is mad. I only see foxes when I visit there.

I saw a Jay whizz past me yesterday and can't remember the last time I saw one. Beautiful bird. I saw it again 2 minutes later being chased by blackbirds who then watched it eating their chick. Knobhead bird.

We had a mad gypsy funeral at work today. They caused chaos parking their trucks AOTS, as they did yesterday when the cops asked us to sort it (told them to sort it themselves if they fancy it). I escaped the bedlam by going to Blandford, Dorchester, Wincanton and then Mere. 4 hour drive instead.

They should do because we're all incredibly macho, as you can see.

Lovely stuff. I'm going to get some of that for the summer.

They did have the Pannick one a few years ago.

Nobody seems to be mentioning that Boris Johnson failed his security vetting and Theresa May still made him Foreign Secretary. Then the Tory members made him Prime Minister still without clearance. Conveniently forgotten by the media and by the Tories who are calling for Starmer’s resignation.

Nasty that. Could have took his head off.
