The game's difficulty progression is really well structured, but good lord ascension 9 is kicking my ass ๐ญ

Haha, that's so quirky. Anyway, do you mind encrypting two messages for me and giving me the ciphertext of only one of them? I bet I'll neeever be able to tell which of the messages you encrypted with a non-negligible advantage if I only have access to an encryption oracle haha
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ save file select screen with three fully completed save files, now showing a stylized artwork of an infinity symbol. Isaac is in the center, beaming.
After almost a decade and 1350 hours of playtime, I have now completed my third save file in The Binding of Isaac. What an excellent game.
It feels very cathartic to be rewarded with an artwork where Isaac finally gets to smile. I'm happy for him.

It also got me thinking if it would be possible to have the AT Protocol work with .onion sites and whether or not that would be a terrible idea. It's probably impossible currently, as I assume the protocol requires a clearnet domain name identifier. Could be wrong though. Haven't looked at the docs.
I recently attended a lecture on the Tor network; like how it works, it's benefits, and what onion services are. It's all really fascinating! I'm thinking of creating and self-hosting an onion service as a learning project. (Benefits include not having to pay for a domain name. Nice!)
I baked pastries today. Usually I take a commemorative picture, but this time it slipped my mind. They were too tasty and gone in an instant. I can't even be upset.
Love the new profile pic
Fellas, we got another one
Image of a page from One Piece chapter 305, in which the character Tonjit explains how he has been stuck on comically tall stilts for ten years
One Piece reference
The button linking to the Steam page uses the same graphic as the one linking to the Discord server
@acerola.gg made a fantastic video about these exploitative gameplay mechanics and how they came to be. It is very informative and entertaining. Do watch it if you are at all interested in the state of gaming.

Steam achievements have been added to I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, almost 29 years after it released on the platform. I'm unsure I want to collect them, as replaying the game seems like a pain, but maybe some of you will be like "Torture again? My favorite!"
Granted, you get lots of ingame currency by playing the game, but not enough to guarantee a 3-star of your choice every banner rotation, which means it's best to skip every other banner rotation and save up currency, but that means waiting 6-18 months until those characters show up again. Diabolical
About a month ago, I commited the ultimate sin and downloaded my first gacha game, Blue Archive. And man, the character aquisition system is the most exploitative game element I've ever seen. To guarantee a 3-star character, you need around 278โฌ worth of ingame currency. That's ludicrous.
Great read! It's frightening what kind of immense influence these mega corporations wield. If they have the power to erase an entire genre of content like this, they desperately need more market competition. But if a lobby was responsible for this, public backlash might fix it.
To me, having the score start at 100 and decrease feels more demoralizing than having it start at 0 and increase.
It counting up or down is like the difference between "How well did I do?" vs "How many mistakes did I make?" I'd prefer it counting up, but maybe this is just a variation of "Is the glass half full or half empty?"
This looks great! Big fan of this style
Just had a joke pop into my head:
"Top one times I've shat myself. Number one: Right now."
Pretty funny, but still unrefined. Thoughts on how to improve it?
Nanoblock pirate ship being displayed in front of a collection of One Piece volumes
Finished building the Nanoblock pirate ship I was gifted for my birthday some days ago. Took longer than expected. The tiny brick sizes tested my patience quite a bit, as I am more used to the size of Legos. Still, I enjoyed the process and will be displaying it proudly.
Are those little bear earrings?? How cute!
I like your page! All the lovely pictures make me want to play Animal Crossing again. Keep it up!
I may buy one, but I'll decide once more first-party games have been released. There's no need to rush a purchase when Mario Kart is the only exclusive game on the system right now (It does look fun though)
This semester I had a course on web design and now I feel the need to rebuild my neocity from the ground up. We're talking complete structural overhaul. I'll add it to my summer to-do list.
Just replayed the Journey Mode of Tetris Effect after not having played Tetris for easily over a year. Pure bliss. The moment I reacquainted myself with the controls, I was back to playing like a savant as if I hadn't even left. If you've never given Tetris a chance, please do. It's truly timeless.
When I saw this game during the presentation, I lost it. The contrast between the game's ridiculous premise and the way you guys presented it with such professionalism and dignity was wonderful. I am enamoured and wish Tire Boy all the best.
Finished reading the Chimera Ants arc in HxH. While there is lots for me to criticize, all was forgiven when I read the three pages of Reina returning home to her mother. Tearjerker scenes like that are what I live for.
Librarian must be incredible at the Survive the Internet Jackbox party game
Deranged caption, great job
Maybe I should start watching romance movies. Any recommendations?
