NG4 deaths and mistakes be like:
- forgot the recovery time dodge
- forgot to gleam / BRF guard
- fail perfect block / deflect
- mixes up on stun value between counters and overextends offense
- fail dodge on block
- over used meter and can't guard anymore

NG4 is my GOTY for sure. However, to rate it as a game is 7.5/10 because most flaw primarily comes down where platinum could not control themselves with padding sections and such.

The story retcon was a bit of a meme but maybe they will make it better on Two Masters DLC.

NG4 unfortunately fell into another victim on this common problem in modern action games. We can let this pass if it's like 2 chapters at max only.

Although, I already knew it would happen since I always call this the platinum games special and the fact that one of the directors worked on bayo3

You only wall cling and such with specific walls compared to older games. They extended the chapters waay to much with pause section and excessive rail / flying / surf. Replaying the game with an attempt for SSS rank is a nightmare.

The praise I have seen from NG4 has been alright but I don't know if they really understand what good level means.

Yes it looks pretty and all that on your first playthrough and impression but there are a lot of negatives like.
