Lots of extra stuff is great but it has to feed back into the main systems and gameplay. Eg Monster Hunter, there's so much content there and even grinding, but it all revolves around the fun combat. FF7 Rebirth having a lot of tangentially related minigames makes me dread playing it.
Nothing to worry about, it's just a warning for plugin devs, will probably take a couple of minutes to patch when that function actually does get deprecated. Right now it has no impact on your game at all.
