Drawing of a light skinned woman with long blonde hair, held back by a bandanna. She's in a brown coat and matching vest, with a rusted prosthetic arm.
Recent portrait commission
Seeing ppl post abt getting into this stuff brings me indescribable joy
shoutout to the piss drunk woman on the bus being held up by her friends who spent the whole ride back telling me how pretty I was and how she wished she looked like me. I'll take the compliment.
Image of a white skinned, blonde haired woman in blue uniform smiling and pulling a peace sign. She's in a six-legged futuristic mobility chair with stickers adorning the armrests. To her right is a spider-legged mech with a large artillery gun, in matching colours. On the bottom right corner is a close up portrait painting of her smiling at the camera. Text reads: Elsie Scwartz Morning Chorus Union Department of Justice and Human rights DoJ/HR Ambassador- "Bluebird" Deaths Head
Drawing of a sci-fi shio crew, all in blue decked uniform, posing for the camera against an interior backdrop.
birds eye view of the Karrakin Cavalry College from Lancer Shadow of the Wolf. It's a large building & estate, but all very sci-fi. There are labels indicating areas of importance: the greenhouses, student quarters, the great hall, the gardens, the lykeon, the ballroom, the dueling fields, stables and manufacture, administration and staff quarters.
Two mecha standing together, labelled Love and Legacy. There's a wrecked frame on the ground, and petal effects swooping the scene aswell as blue and red lighting on either side. The Love frame is white and modelled after a large dress shape and holds a mace. The Legacy frame is black and top-heavy with jets. It holds a sword. To the left is the symbol of the House of Stone from Lancer.
Fashionably late #portfolioday post. I make art for my ttrpg games. Sometimes I even like it.

I'm not unemployed. I simply have a fulltime career in watching world cinema.
The Wizard In The Kitchen, by Barbara Hambly. A bearded man in a fantasy robe with staff & sword is sitting at a kitchen table with a beer, a bag of chips and a pile of dishes.
This is how I feel every day after opening my inbox to more job rejection emails.
12 days until I turn 22... Im not ready... my youth where is it going....
A thought that scares me is that there are thousands of normal well adjusted people like there who just dont watch movies and will go to see the new Sonic bc they like the games and walk away and it will be one of like 3 movies they watch that year. Actually horrifying.
Watching the Master. Take Joaquin Phoenix. Take Philip Seymour Hoffman. Now make them both dog girl. Put them both in robot. That shit would do numbers on mech bluesky.
It's a great Anderson movie with all the like thudding momentum that entails but we can do better. Billions must watch Alex Cox's Walker.
I like a good PTA movie, I'm not a contrarian, but the more time goes on the more I sour on One Battle After Another. Whenever it gets mentioned I always think of like, that weirdly reactionary comedy scene where the guy keeps saying native land names on the phone. Weird movie!
22, 23- WONT LAST FORVEVEEEER- 24, 25- ITS KINDA SAAAAAAAAAAAAD--- 🙏
Every pre Pet Sounds Beach Boys recording has a track called "Gee Lets Go To the Diner" and its the hokiest thing you've ever heard then there's 30 seconds at the end where they harmonize and it sounds like a choir of angles and a golden ladder reaching down from heaven.
"LGBT safe!" well I'm LGBT DANGEROUS
Last year was my first since I was like a baby... been on that grind so looking to pumping out a few, building a thorougher list (even if Im away for the start of July)
Everyone complains about not having personalized websites anymore. Anyway I remembered I had one so I have a blog page now. Just gonna be posting little updates and art from what I've been doing.

How it feels to listen to the Number One Song in Heaven
Saab was documenting these events in a way nobody else ever did, especially here she takes a very background approach as a voice and a director and just lets her wide berth of subjects talk to the camera. Her films on the Beirut civil war are esp great, you can find them on ytube.
I've been slowly working my way through the great docos of Lebanese director Jocelyne Saab. They're all very short and just these portraits of historical moments and places. Here's one on post revolutionary Iran for no reason.

The best genre of movies are the ones that are 3 hours long and kinda boring and feel like they waste your time and the moment it finishes you realize its a 10/10 and two days later realize it's of the best things you've ever seen.
Theres a bug where copy pasted text wont edit itself in a weird way that's been around forever and happens quite often. Very annoying.
Fuck you to the clip studio paint text tool specifically
-because I do tend to just do a lot of the same like "genre character design" stuff that you see all over, I have a pretty plain painterly style, etc. So I think like, how can I do something fun with that, how can I like push the artificiality a little more, oh I'll just make a fun sheet design.
I'm not as anxious about it as this makes me sound but with the growing amount of AI art spam out there I do think a bit about how I can differentiate myself; not for audience or social media growth, which are both pure nonsense out of my control, but just for my own fulfillment.
Something I've been really trying to do with my art is incoorporating more like, graphic stuff. I like having my little graphic design splashes I like having my text and information I really want to push that further. It's something fun and human.
Just threw it on there lol.
