Technically yes overall but you’re challenging the individual arm/muscle groups to do 20kg each rather than 40kg together (as would be the case if it were on a barbell) - all depends on how you want to spin it with yourself basically, progress nonetheless! 💪🏻☺️

I’m not familiar with the app but presumably it changes up the workouts occasionally so your body doesn’t get too much chance to get used to the workouts

So that’s where ensuring you’ve got the food side of things all sorted comes in, you can’t build without the materials. You don’t have the buy the expensive stuff either, there’s plenty of decent cheaper versions/alternatives available

…and just keep with it!
If you’re not feeling it one day, still go but do something else.
If you’re having a crappy MH moment, lower the weights but still do something (that scenario is when I’m most prone to injury)

Most important thing IMO is keeping in the habit of going and doing it

You also need to make sure you’re eating enough otherwise you’ll never grow, there’s loads of resources online to help figure out what you should have and alternative protein sources for vegetarian diets etc!

If you want size, you need to provide the impetus for your body to build muscle which means increasing the demand on it, i.e. increasing the weight you’re lifting. Don’t rush but once you feel comfortable lifting a weight, increase it by 5kg (or 2.5kg, whatever interval feels more achievable)
