Was the group block just too small?

That hotel has 1300 rooms and you only have 2400 attendance in 2025.

Assumed 3 person/room average, you'd expect 800 rooms maximum which is only ~60% occupancy.

It's surprising to me that the block sold out? Can you re-negotiate a block expansion?

Had an incident where some local acquaintances overstepped and took my hospitality for granted.

Shit like this creates the need for door guards at parties

FYI - If you walk in on someone's party uninvited but are allowed to stay because you know the host.

That does NOT EVER give you the right to invite people without asking. And it sure as hell DOES NOT mean it's a public party.

According to your website, it's declared as Dec, however in the booking email it's declared as Mar?

@furnalequinox.bsky.social There is an additional guest occupancy fee that surprised me on the Marriott App.

I've been told by people that, this fee will be waived at the front desk but, There is no mention of this fee anywhere on your website, passkey, or the booking email
