For the past week or so I been going through it, gals. Never had a sinus infection like this before. The main problem was that the swelling was all right above my teeth so my nerves were going CRAZY. Finally on the mend but I’m still achey… maybe outside just isn’t for me right now 🤣

user abbiistabbii: The Germans really cooked making "Hobbyless behaviour" an insult. It is both devastating, applicable to a wide range of people and behaviours, and doesn't resort to swearing. Man ranting on the internet about the Superbowl halftime show or complaining that something is "woke"? Hobbyless Behaviour. Girls mocking another girl for not looking right? Hobbyless Behaviour. Mindless vandalism? Hobbyless Behaviour. It is more powerful than "get a life" or the English "You're Sad" because it gets to the central point of the matter, and that is wonderful. Danke, Deutsch.

I don't normally subscribe to the "German has a word for it" thing because all languages can invent and borrow new words!

Yeah, he still doesn’t have copyright on the original photos, he just has it for the documentary and the narration. And again, that’s based on real photos that have historic import and not bullshit ugly useless slop 🤣

No it won’t, cause it’s just stitched together clips of output, that’s not actually transformative work of the output. And if you don’t understand that, you don’t understand the act of creating anything

But they’re not tho, they’re just taking the output, they’re not doing anything transformative with it 🤣

Ultimately, no human can claim authorship (aka be the artist of) what comes out of an AI image generator

Also, if you read it they still have to do a transformative amount of work on the ai output, and can only copyright what they did to it, not the original output. It’s basically the same as copyrighting a collage of magazine clippings

Looks like they’re still rejecting other copyrights but that hasn’t been taken to court in the same way yet (but either way it’s not art and you shouldn’t be able to copyright it cause it’s mechanically put together by a non-human)

In case yall are confused, this does mean that legally, on top of spiritually and artistically, you are not an artist just because you generated an AI image (also if I see you vending at art stuff like dandyland or whatever I’m going to take all your prints and sell them myself)
