He escapes real oversight because he's still useful to the puppetmasters. They want to keep him whilst ever they can pump enough meds into him to keep his zombified body animated. Evil is as Evil does.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress beforehand, or our allies, or coherently explain to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop this.

I know you were aware of the quote you used. Of course you knew it and all it meant. Is why I commented for those who might not know beyond meme world. That's all. And yes, a perfect choice on your part so thank you!

So sorry for your loss though her spirit is around you. It's what we agree to do. this journey and its grief. Esme lived her best life with you.

Now THAT is beautiful. Humans can be quite cool when they serve the greater good. Thank you for this reminder! Happy dogs! Happy people!

His condition is degenerative. It will take leaps, then subside (medication?) then turbo-charge.

I hadn't thought of it being one of the insane wannabe rulers typing. I thought it sounded like how an increasingly dementia'd Trump, losing what few boundaries he has left, might well speak. As a grandiose/malignant narcissist with literal brain rot it sounded credible. BUT you have a point!

For those who might not know: This is a quote from one of the Shrek movies. You can find loads online to verify and see how profound it is. I'm rubbish at this techno stuff so can't "present a case" but imo it's a Class/Power statement about how irrelevant all our lives are to the ruling elite.

When I first responded to your post what called me was its purity. I saluted your loyalty, compassion, duty. We all have to pick our way through the current raging insanity. I stand by my original assertion that your post was beautiful. We do what we can/should despite the plethora of Other Stuff.

Humans drive me crazy. When I was saving animals there was always the chorus of dissent blethering on about this or that as to why I shouldn't. Me? I was always just going to save that life, harmed by people. So I did it anyway.

Well said. Thank you. This is the spirit in which I responded to AngryStaffer's original post. There aren't enough characters available in posts to describe how horrified I am at the Evil striding around taking lives, destroying everything. Saving lives is innately good and pure in my opinion.

I don't really think the King represents the British People any more than I think Trump represents normal, healthy Americans. However, I think it would be the right and appropriate thing to do to cancel this event. Trump is well beyond the delicate mysteries of "soft power" and diplomacy.

I think it's ok to celebrate the saving of someone's life. Doesn't change the other best outcome but in the moment, a tiny spark of Light is good.

Openly psychotic now. His brain can't melt fast enough, it seems.

Oh how beautiful! I love it when the decision is made, the connection allowed and boom, you've been promoted to honourable cat-servant!

Damn ... he's back. Still, I'm glad the one who wrote a nice message hasn't been made to stay on.

Just for this moment I'm glad Trump didn't write the latest blog entry. I'm glad someone with an actual human aura and sensitivity wrote it. I'd like to think Trump hands were physically tied to prevent him reaching the k/b but in the end, maybe let this moment be exactly as it is?

This is an excellent summary of current circumstances

Kyle Kulinski: “A sundowning president with Alzheimer’s who’s a malignant narcissist is dragging us into WWIII, committing war crimes on a daily basis and crashing the global economy, and nobody is actually grabbing the steering wheel.”

Finding BBC and #r4today analysis of Trump’s insults of Starmer to be bizarre. Why are we even considering what Trump said? It’s meaningless. Genuinely. Not even Trump knows what he means. The story is - Starmer stood firm and acted in the national interest. Trump threw some toys out of his pram.

🇬🇧 @mrjamesob.bsky.social on Trump’s war: “keir starmer should do as little as possible. Trump is a dangerous, delinquent idiot who started a war in one of the world’s most historically volatile tinderboxes’ — with no legal rationale, no plan, and no end objective.”

Ukraine is holding back Russia and thus fulfilling the entire traditional mission of NATO without any soldiers or sailors from other countries. Trump is meanwhile demanding NATO allies leave the continent they are supposed to be defending to join him in a doomed adventure he chose in the Middle East
