The track titles came from journals I was writing at the time... “Head First Into Nothing”, “We All Have Nightmares”, “Eyeless Gaze”. They’re nightmarish, but there’s humour in there too. I remember feeling like my skin was itching with guilt. Those years are heavy as fuck, init?
The music that became this album was written with my mate when we were 18. I was smoked out, depressed as fuck, and restless, like the devil was on my shoulder. I think that paranoia made its way into the sound.

Getting the track order of an album is hard. I keep moving things around, trying to find the sweet spot but I’ve got it now, it feels right and flows the way it should.
