Ah, the point at which this magic always invokes for me is when the other wizard gazes upon my inscribed runes. I exclaim to him "but look here Merlin, this glyph always conjures when I evoke this spell..." and like if Merlin radiated a disenchantment. My problems vanished as if they were illusions.
