Pub 3397, Butchers Arms, Werrington. Sober again sort of after long walk. Plush micro I enjoy. Everyone hates Spurs and suddenly becomes Brighton fans weirdly. Wanted pint of lemonade with beer but beer is lemonade anyway. Win win!

Pub 3396, Ruddy Duck, Peakirk. One of those grey Peterborough suburbans where you think you are pissed but you get there and everyone is more pissed so you become sober by default. High quality ale. Keep sneezing. Karen doesn't want a pudding.

Pub 3395, Admiral Wells, Holme. Lowest sea level pub in country. Drowning. Very classy. Quite hotel in style but permanently busy despite impossible location. Everyone wears pink or purple. Vintage Sooty says hello. Nelson's Revenge burns me.

Shut pub alert! Black Bull, Godmanchester. Taxi driver warned me, didn't believe him. But he had a vape n a look, and by jove correct. Recent thing cos nowt online. Then had to ring a lady in India to get him to take me elsewhere 🤣. Farce.

Pub 3394, Three Horseshoes, Graveley. Twisty beard dude shows me the 1952 Coca Cola vending machine he brought back from t'other side of pond (USA). Weird pub. Drabbed out interior, but locals n staff are very 'carpet, arse n cigarettes'. Beer drinks chalky. Kinda works as an ensemble.

Pub 3393, White Swan, Conington. Gorgeous pubbing 🤩. Low bar and Ghost Ship from barrel on top form. Sophie distracted as the two old gits tell her about a 'cat bird' whilst she's trying to serve punters. Impossible to get to or from on public transport.

Pub 3392, Three Tuns, Fen Drayton. Attractive jolly diner of much character & randy wobbly old ladies. One with tube in face beat me to the bar grr! Thought she was ill but now I suspect tactics to neck more pints quicker. Snake Eyes went off, Oakham drinks troppo.

Pub 3391, Swan 🦢 & Angel 😇 , St Ives. Carpet, beer and staff all lacking that 'get up and go' which makes a good 'Spoons. Oli Crommers ain't impressed. Had coffee & cake in cute cafe earlier so wasn't here 9:30. 1.5 hrs til pub two opens.
