So my 10% is $900. The insurance did not question the reason for the second endoscopy in the last 3 weeks the facilities charged me 4 times what it cost me for exactly same procedure 3 weeks earlier. Private insurance has to die.

I am being charged 13,000 dollars for the device procedure and 16,000 dollars for the redundant endoscopy totally bill 26,000 dollars for a 20 minute procedure. For two procedures that happening at the same time in the same OR. Of course the insurance pays 3k of the 26k

I show up this morning and they tell me that my portion is going $900. I said this makes no sense. Then I see they billed for another endoscopy and the ph study. Which is attaching a small monitoring device in esophagus. So, they are repeating a procedure I just has done 3 weeks ago.
