so! i'm trying to be kinder to myself and work with my motivation ebbing and flowing, instead of trying to brute force consistency. the people who like my work will find it regardless of algorithms, and i owe it to myself to make things in the way that works for me

it feels hard to keep up with other artists when my goal isn't necessarily sales or marketability, especially when the way my brain and motivation work is so opposed to that kind of mindset? especially now being diagnosed with adhd and learning that consistently posted work is just not doable for me

been super artblocked the past few months, but i'm trying to cement the thought in my mind that even if i think a piece of my art isn't that good/doesn't come out the way i wanted it to, there are still people out there that are going to like it, and not sharing it would be a disservice to them
