Honestly, the canal tours are pretty cool. There's the Rijksmuseum too. And I recommend eating all the bitterballen you can find. My friend @itsrene.nl might have some good suggestions as well.

If you find it useful, give it a star. If you find a bug, lemme know or send a PR.
Well, I spent a good part of my weekend figuring this out and rather than just deploy it to my machine, I thought I'd share a repo that anyone can clone and use to get started with this configuration.
Obsidian Sync so that I and the AI can work with my notes from anywhere.
Obsidian CLI so the AI can be more intentional, will be less likely to corrupt any files, and won't consume all my tokens navigating the file structure.
I've been trying to get these two tools to work containerized on my headless Linux box. Specifically, I want to use Obsidian Sync + Obsidian CLI.
Obsidian (@obsidian.md) is part of that goal. My data stays on my devices and what is shared via the cloud is done so securely, privately, and respectfully.
OpenClaw (openclaw.ai) is part of that goal. I'm still not hosting my own AI yet, but the agent's memory lives on my machine. The automation is controlled by me.
One of my goals is to own my stuff. I think a lot of people are tired of their data, their tech, and their network being controlled by centralized powers. I am one of those people.
That snap, crackle, and pop is just line noise.
I sometime banter with my AI. The smarter models have a pretty decent sense of humor. Or at least they stochastically fake one pretty well. Here's a fun little interaction with OpenClaw running GPT-5.1.

We're really looking forward to having Guy at Stir Trek this year!
Chuck Norris doesn't rest in peace. Peace rests in him.
The first meeting for the Central Ohio Radio Enthusiasts is April 7. The topic is WiFi HaLow. Don't know what that is? I know how you can find out!
RSVP. Join our Discord. Get on our mailing list for future events. How? It's all at core.radio.
And shout out to our awesome host—@leadingedje.com!
International Women's Day is a fantastic thing to celebrate. May all the women in my life—and those not in my life for that matter—have a wonderful day.
Of course, this year it landed on my birthday. So you'll forgive me if I also call it International Guy Day. Just this once.
I think I said thanks on Twitter as well. But it never hurts be be more grateful. So, thanks again!
Good times. Good times.
I was 1@6465 on WWIVnet.
She knew immediately.
Welp. What may have been obvious to others but not me is now official. I have ADHD. Now, gimme some Adderall!
LLMs can be unnecessarily verbose—loquacious even. So many bullet points just scrolling by. Most just ai;dr and move on.
But when it's part of a workflow, it can break routing logic. The solution—structured output.
Part 3 of Learning LangGraph.js shows you how to do it.

I wonder why that is? Regardless, glad you made it in!
I plan to set up a mailing list to announce meetings and things like that. Not a discussion mailing list, just announcements. Once I get it set up I'll publish that on the website.
Once you get your Discord issues resolved, that's the place to be. It's where all the discussion is happening.
I set it to unlimited so it should work fine but try this one instead. It's good for the next 7 days. discord.gg/t3vDYyHq
I'll be on Eat Sleep Code today at 3pm ET to talk tech news with @edcharbeneau.bsky.social and John Bristowe. Will #AI come up? Will @redis.io? Of course! But I'll keep the hype to a minimum and focus on practical stuff that helps you build better apps.

We're just on Discord for now (might be moving soon, never know) but are looking for a venue for in person meetups. So if you have a place or know of a place, lemme know.
And, of course, we want to get the word out. All the details can be found at core.radio.
I'm starting a new meetup called CORE—the Central Ohio Radio Enthusiasts. It's for radio and radio-adjacent interests. It's not a ham radio club, we talk about that, but also GMRS, mesh networks like Meshtastic, Reticulum, and HaLow, software-defined radio, and shortwave listening.
So, I learned a new Internet abbreviation today: ai;dr

A replacement for HamClock, which will shutdown forever come June, has been release. It's called OpenHamClock. Looks pretty swish!

I registered w8guy.radio yesterday. Nothing there yet but hopefully you'll be able to email me@w8guy.radio in the future! Or maybe I should go with nerd@w8guy.radio?
