I grew up in Eau Claire and everyone I knew were die hard Brewers fans.

The Brewers have not announced their cable channels either. They say they are still negotiating details with the providers. A new channel labeled Brewers has shown up in my guide this week though.

How is Sal Frelick not playing for Italy? Did he decline? Insurance issue?

I got a message saying my stream was ending but the Vikings/Lions stream started automatically without me needing to do anything

@harrisfootball.com I got a kick out of the Brian Thomas name debate on today's pod. Because I noticed this watching games last week, mainly because of your show. He does include the "Jr" in his name on the back of his jersey.

Have to say that this is the most the national media has covered the Brewers since probably the 1982 World Series. MLB Network has been the Brewers Network this week.

Plus the Brewers have a run differential that is 50 runs better than the Dodgers

Wasn't there a college football game a couple years ago played at Bristol also?

@threetwoeephus.bsky.social @ken-rosenthal.bsky.social I am disappointed that there was no mention of Brandon Woodruff's comeback in The Windup today. Surely one of the game's best pitchers coming back after nearly 2 years of rehab to pitch 6 solid innings and earn a victory deserved your attention

It does something to your taste buds that makes food taste weird for a while after taking it. At least that is my experience. But I am also pretty sure that it does help to hold off an illness when I feel it coming on. Or at least makes it less severe.

It is horrible to take because it messes with your taste but Zicam often works for me

Or you could actually talk to people and get directions before you left

Does the Sonics title officially not count for OKC or are you just choosing not to count it?

Any thoughts on what might be causing Contreras' pretty dramatic reverse left/right splits this season? That hasn't been the case in his career. Just a small sample size or is something going on?

One thing I am learning browsing my timeline right now is that other people liked Around the Horn way more than I did.

It’s in the OS Manual and it says a fielder missing a batted ball due to a slip due to bad footwork or wet grounds doesn’t constitute a misplay and is not to be scored an error.

While folks want to moan about scoring, the OS Manual is terrific because it takes the guesswork out of plays like this and allows for consistency and it is a product of the MLB Scoring Department.

I don't know if this is right or wrong but here is more clarification given.

To each his own I guess. I was able to watch it specifically because it was on when it was. I would not have been able to watch Sunday night.

I agree with you. I much prefer a Sunday afternoon game to Sunday night.

Isn't there usually a big NBA game on ABC on Sunday afternoon in this timeslot? This is when fans are used to looking for the games

@harrisfootball.com I am hoping to do some of my own film study to prepare for this fantasy season. I remember you did a video series with Brett Kollman about how to watch film. Is that still available? I am sorry but I don't remember what you called it.

Doesn't this just show that NFL teams evaluate players differently than consensus draft rankings? You assume the Dart pick was a reach and the Warren pick wasn't based on consensus. But how do we know another team didn't agree with the Giants and would have drafted Dart before their next pick?

I am listening to the Mariner radio broadcast. They have talked about it.

It is definitely a strange part of the save rule. But if a pitcher enters the game with the lead and pitches the last 3 innings of the game he gets a save no matter the score.
